CHILDREN’S PRIVACY POLICY
This Children’s Privacy Policy (“Policy”) outlines how Foxie Ventures collects, manages, uses, and protects the personal data of children who access or use our Services (as defined below). It also describes the rights available to children—or their parents or guardians—regarding that data.
This Policy applies specifically to our practices involving children in connection with the following mobile games and applications (collectively referred to as the “Services”):
- Horse Riding Tales
- Animal Kingdoms
- Pony Tales
- World of Sim
In compliance with the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), we collect only a minimal set of personal information from children. This includes persistent identifiers gathered automatically when a child uses our Services, such as:
- IP address
- Device identifier
We also collect information about how the Services are used, technical data sent by the device, user interactions within the app, and country-level geo-location data.
These details are used solely to support the internal operations of our Services, which may include:
- Ensuring proper functionality and performance
- Authenticating users
- Safeguarding against security risks and abuse
- Meeting legal and regulatory obligations
If a child voluntarily shares online contact details (e.g., through a customer support form), we may use this information only to respond directly to their request. Participation in any activity within the Services is never conditioned on a child providing more personal data than is necessary to take part in that activity.
How We Share Children’s Personal Information
We may disclose children’s personal data to certain third parties, strictly for the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy:
- Service Providers: We may engage external companies or individuals who perform functions on our behalf—such as analytics and other support services. These parties only access personal information as needed to fulfill their duties and must comply with strict data handling requirements.
- Legal and Regulatory Requirements: We may disclose personal information to courts, law enforcement agencies, or regulatory authorities when legally required to do so.
- Protection of Rights and Safety: We may also share information when necessary to protect our legal rights, ensure safety or safeguard the vital interests of children or others.
Third Party Service Providers
The following third-party partners may collect or manage the types of personal information described under How We Collect and Use Personal Information when children engage with our Services:
- Google AdMob – Ad network
- IronSource – Ad network
- Unity Ads – Ad network
- Google Firebase / Crashlytics – App analytics and crash reporting
- AppsFlyer – Measures app installations and user acquisition in an aggregated, privacy-focused manner using a restricted SDK with advertising identifiers disabled
- PlayFab – Backend player database for cloud save, authentication, player support.
- PAX Moderation: Automated chat moderation, using locally scrubbed text to detect and block unsafe content
- Zendesk- Manages customer support tickets
Each of these service providers is limited to using personal data solely for the purpose of supporting the functions of our Services as listed. They do not share or repurpose children’s personal information for unrelated uses. Additionally, these providers retain any personal data only for the duration necessary to perform their contracted services.
If you have any questions about how a specific provider handles children’s data, please contact Foxie Ventures at contact@foxiegames.com.
Parental Choices & Control Options
We are committed to giving parents meaningful control over their child’s personal information. If your child uses our Services and you would like to:
- Access or review the personal data we’ve collected about your child
- Request the deletion of your child’s information
- Prevent any future collection or use of your child’s data
- Or have questions about this Privacy Policy or our data practices in general
You can contact us at contact@foxiegames.com at any time.
In-App Controls:
Parents can also manage certain features directly within the app. For example, in-game chat functionality can be enabled or disabled by navigating to Settings → Parental Controls.
Data Security
We take the protection of children’s personal information seriously and implement safeguards that are proportionate to the level of risk associated with our data processing activities. These safeguards are intended to prevent accidental or unlawful loss, alteration, destruction, or unauthorized access to or disclosure of personal data. The security measures we use depend on the nature and sensitivity of the data but may include:
- Encryption of data during transmission and storage
- Pseudonymization of personal identifiers, where possible
- Physical and digital access controls to restrict who can access systems containing personal information
- Internal protocols for identifying, managing, and responding to potential security incidents
These practices are regularly reviewed and updated to ensure the ongoing integrity and confidentiality of the data we collect and process.
Chat & User IDs
Our goal is to let players socialise safely without ever revealing who they really are.
- How chat works – Every message is scanned on-device for personal info (names, emails, socials) and blocked before it is sent. The remaining text is then screened by automated AI moderation and, where needed, a trained human team.
- No real names – When you first launch the game, we assign a random, non-unique, two-word nickname (for example, “Silver Sparrow”). Players cannot type or edit their own screen name, so there is no way to expose their identity.
Changes to Our Privacy Notice
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our business practices, legal requirements, or the functionality of our Services. Updates will be made available here. When we make material changes, we may notify you by other appropriate means depending on the significance of the update (such as in-app messages or email).
Your continued use of our Platform, Services, or products after the effective date of any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
If you have any questions or concerns about this Privacy Policy, please contact us using the information provided at the beginning of this document.
